Whitfield, Ertel win triathlon World Cup at windy Cancun

CANCUN, Mexico: Simon Whitfield won a thrilling finish from fellow Canadian Paul Tichelaar in the men's race, while American champion Julie Ertel won her first triathlon World Cup on Sunday.
