The AirTran 3-day sale actually hit my mailbox several hours before Southwest. Same gig, though. Airfares start at $49 each way from Baltimore. Here's one difference: if you want a quick pre-spring break trip to the Caribbean, AirTran will get you there - Southwest won't. Fares to Nassau, San Juan and Cancun start at about $98-$99 each way. Montego Bay starts at $129 each way; Aruba is $169 each way. Book by tomorrow for travel by March 10 to the Caribbean and Florida and May 26 to all other destinations.
