At the launch yesterday of Queen 2010. nine of the ten candidates candidates attended, one of them suffered an injury- where on Friday, 5th of Feb tread the stage with carnival designs, Councilman Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Roque Diaz, underlined that "the beauty of women of the island is more than reflected. Thus, in his view, "the jury is going to have it very difficult."
On the other hand, said that despite the economic crisis, has kept the number of candidates for the various contests-with companies that sponsor them. Diaz also invited citizens to "escape from the crisis and to participate in this event with good vibes."
In his view, "people have wanted to have fun and escape, so we must transmit positive energy." Thus, pledged that everything will be "the most dignified manner possible," while staked by local artists.
