Golden Weddings in Isla Mujeres

As part of the celebration of Day of Love and Friendship, the municipal DIF organized "golden weddings" that allowed 56 couples to celebrate thier more than thirty years of marriage.

The elderly people held more than three decades have made their votes, along with the municipal president, Alicia Magana Ricalde and President of DIF, Athena Gomez Ricalde who chaired the celebration.

In the event the couples enjoyed a breakfast organized by the dependency and island music artists who performed songs for the lovers in their day.

The officers commended by the grandparents have been married for years and said it was an honor to celebrate with them a date as important as the renewal of their vows.

The mayor and the president of DIF and present awards granted to couples who celebrated their golden wedding, during the event organized by the municipal DIF free and held in the council room. Mario Vazquez Vazquez
