Healthily rescued three castaways

Three fishermen, two from Yucatan and one from Veracruz, which wrecked at 8:30 yesterday morning on the coast of Quintana Roo, after the boat they were traveling overturned were rescued safely by personnel from the Fifth Naval Region.

From Isla Mujeres in a statement of the Fifth Naval Region, reported that the fortuitous rescue of three sailors, took place at 9:10 am, 40 minutes after it collapsed.

The wreck happened 11 kilometers north of Cabo Catoche, near the island of Holbox. The weather derivative of the cold front number 30, caused the boat bilge with three fishermen on board.

The fishermen were found floating at sea with fuel drums held that rescued when the boat gave the bilge.

He explained that the rescue took place when Naval personnel aboard a Patrol Interceptor patrol routes and conducting surveillance on the coasts of Quintana Roo and spotted the three fishermen floating.
