Three Franklin Lakes families met on the Riviera Maya, Mexico, for February break last year. The D'Alessandro, Flink and Marden families stayed at the Iberostar Tucan Hotel, which is a great family resort. The hotel grounds were so clean and beautiful.
The hotel is in a jungle setting teeming with wildlife at every turn. The food was excellent, the beaches beautiful and the ocean so blue. We rented a catamaran for the day for all 17 of us, and went snorkeling and boating. We even stopped for lunch on another island.
Tip: Bring plenty of sunscreen and enjoy the moment!
