Springbreakers do community work at Isla Mujeres

Not all springbreakers who came on vacation are dedicated only to party, a group of them, from Los Angeles, California, performed community work in Isla Mujeres, where they can be seen on the streets side by side with the islanders.

Mathew Walls Cologne, who coordinates the 16 students at the University of Southern California, who arrived on the island, said that for four days, youth community work carried out in a show that's not all fun in the beaches and nightclubs during his visit to holiday destinations.

Some of the work they carry out are the collection of garbage in the streets, to show people the importance of caring for the environment, in addition to the murals painted in different sites selected for this purpose.

It is noteworthy that springbreakers have carried out such activities in other tourist destinations like Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta, where besides enjoying the attractions of these places and spend a holiday fun and games, also are worried about leaving something positive.
